Finance Department/Tresurer's Office
The Finance Department manages the Township’s financial operations, including budget administration, accounting, financial reporting, debt management and accounts payable.
The Chief Financial Officer serves as custodian of Township funds and oversees the preparation of the municipal budget, Annual Financial Statement and other required financial reports.
Accounts Payable/Payment of Claims
Vendors requesting payment must submit a completed Township of Burlington voucher, signed by the claimant and accompanied by a detailed invoice.
Claims are reviewed and processed for approval by the Township Council. Submission of a voucher does not guarantee payment at the next Council meeting.
